and no I'm not going to call it "Thomas the Tank Engine", its a train. Cooper's personal social director, Aunt Sarah, had sifted through the available entertainment possibilities on the the Front Range for the weekend and determined the best fit for Super Cooper would be to go ride the real Thomas the Train.
After some hectic shuffling and a missed 4:45 departure by mere seconds, we regrouped and saw some sights while we waited for our now 5:30 departure time. Good thing was there was quite a bit to see and do while we waited.
Cooper was brave enough to give Sir Topemhat a high five, but didn't stick around long enough to get a picture
We checked out the elaborate series of model trains that were running
Then some time in the petting zoo
And then it was time for the main event, a ride on the real life Thomas the Train. Super and Pieces all aboard and ready for departure.
Cooper wanting quiet so he can hear the Thomas speech
And a Cooper smile
The parents and Lauren, who was less than impressed but agreeable as always
Pieces styles as we depart
Cooper checks out the sites
Then after the ride a quick picture in front of Thomas
