Its been a blur, but a week has passed by since Cooper arrived. Things have definitely been different, but its been incredible all the same. Jill and I got out for the first time last night, meeting up with Jason Brandt for dinner as he travels through the Front Range on his way to Summit County for his annual summer pilgrimage. It was good to get out and have a break from poopy diapers, but it was also nice to get back home and see my son as well.
Monday is the real test when I have to get on a plane and be gone for a couple of days. There is no two ways about it, its going to be tough. Until then, we'll just continue to sit around and laugh at the funny faces Coop makes and how he can go from completely content to screaming to happy again in a 5 second span.

I finally had a chance to check in and see how things are going...congrats. It's amazing...I never though you would look like a dad..but you definitely do. Enjoy the little one. And if turns out to be a nerd...thats ok.
